The Camino de Santiago is a historic network of pilgrimage routes leading to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. Alongside the Via Francigena to Rome and the road to Jerusalem, it is one of Christianity’s three great pilgrimages, walked by pilgrims for over a millennium. To mark their 30th wedding anniversary, David and Trudi Paton spent 37 days walking the Camino Francés—nearly 800 km from St. Jean Pied de Port in France to Santiago de Compostela—a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and determination.
