The Square Gift Store is complying with all rules and regulations regarding COVID-19. As such, there might be some changes to the way we can help you - we've answered your common questions and concerns below, and we are updating this page as the situation changes.
Can I come into the shop?
Our retail store is open under all Traffic Light stages! The store hours are subject to some changes based on the current Auckland traffic light colour, you can check those on our contact us page.
We do not require vaccine passes to be scanned when entering the store. However, to comply with government regulations, you must wear a mask and scan the QR code with the NZ Covid Tracer App.
Can I order online?
Yes, our online shop is still open 24/7 - all our in-stock products are available online.
If you have a parish/school account with us, you can also sign up with your parish/school email and place orders on-account with us.
I ordered a customised candle...
Will I still be able to get my candle in time?
We are still accepting new candle orders as usual! We will contact you if we find any timing issues that might arise due to lockdown restrictions.
But the date has changed/postponed! What do I do?
Please let us know as soon as you can! Email us at candles@thesquaregiftstore.co.nz and we will make the necessary changes, or put your order on hold as needed.
But the event was cancelled - can I cancel my order?
If the event has been cancelled, we're happy to cancel your candle order. Please let us know as soon as possible, as this gives us time to work on other orders.
My parish needs less altar breads this month...

Is Mass on at the Cathedral?
It's best to check on the Cathedral website, as this may change with the situation. The most up-to-date information is usually available on the Cathedral's Facebook page.
Do you sell hand sanitiser?
We don't sell hand sanitiser, but we have plenty available for customers to use when our retail store is open.
Where can I find out more about COVID-19?
We recommend you check the government website, covid19.govt.nz, for the most up-to-date, accurate information. You could also check the Ministry of Health's updates page, or the World Health Organisation (WHO)'s website.
